Privacy Policy

The short version: TrappWallet is a non-custodial wallet. We never see your private keys, seed phrase, or funds. Your wallet lives entirely on your device. We do not sell your data.

1. Who We Are

TrappWallet ("we", "us", "our") is a self-custody Solana wallet application available on iOS and Android. By using TrappWallet you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

Your private keys or seed phrase — these never leave your device
Your wallet balance or transaction history
Your name, email address, or any account information
Your location
Any biometric data

TrappWallet requires no account creation. There is no registration, no sign-up, and no login to our servers.

3. What Is Stored On Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only, using your device's secure encrypted storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore):

Your encrypted seed phrase (encrypted with your PIN)
Your PIN hash (using PBKDF2 — your PIN is never stored in plain text)
Lockout state for brute-force protection

This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to TrappWallet or any third party.

4. Third-Party Services

TrappWallet connects to the following third-party services to provide app functionality. These services may receive your wallet's public address and/or IP address as part of normal network requests:

Helius (helius.dev) — Solana RPC node, token data, transaction history. Privacy Policy
Jupiter (jup.ag) — DEX swap aggregator. Privacy Policy
RugCheck (rugcheck.xyz) — Token security scanning. Website
GoPlus Security (gopluslabs.io) — Token risk analysis. Privacy Policy
DexScreener (dexscreener.com) — Price charts. Privacy Policy
Bubblemaps (bubblemaps.io) — Holder visualization. Website
MoonPay (moonpay.com) — Fiat on-ramp (optional, only if you use the Buy feature). Privacy Policy
Bonfida (bonfida.org) — .sol domain name resolution. Privacy Policy
pump.fun — Trending token data. Website

We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We only connect to them to power features you actively use.

5. Blockchain Transactions

The Solana blockchain is public. When you send transactions, your public wallet address and transaction details are permanently recorded on the blockchain and visible to anyone. This is inherent to how blockchain technology works and is not specific to TrappWallet.

6. In-App Browser

TrappWallet includes an optional in-app browser for accessing Solana dApps. Each browsing session is isolated (incognito mode) — no cookies or browsing history are stored between sessions. We do not track which sites you visit.

7. Children's Privacy

TrappWallet is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
